From a New Zealand point of view:

With a busy business to run, CosyHome Company wanted a website that marketed their services while being easy and quick to use and almost impossible to break.  We provided a WebEasy solution, with design, web build and hosting delivered as one simple solution.

The BizBoard came about after Gilbert, Emma and Stephen were talking about the issues facing Nelson business and they stumbled across a similar occurrence – as current business owners, each BizBoard member regularly meets people in Nelson who wish they had had an opportunity to test their business idea before they started, or wish they had a Board of their own to bounce around challenges and opportunities with.

Having considered this issue, the three set up The BizBoard, so that they could put their complementary business backgrounds together around the table to help Nelsonians better understand the opportunities and challenges facing their businesses.

The web site requirements were a simple, clean modern design ready to support mobile devices through a responsive theme that can resize to suit and with the ability to add regular business focused news article. We put a WordPress site in place for them.

The technical stuff

The hosting network is now a multi-path, self-healing, 10 gigabit core network and is powered by a fully redundant Juniper core with multilayer switches capable of traffic rates as high as 10 gigabits per second.

WordPress seemed the obvious choice but but like any club they were very budget conscious. Our FreeStart solution with a free installation of WordPress and a carefully selected ready made theme all for the cost of just an annual hosted seemed the obvious solution.

Couple this with a some custom configuration work and a few hours paid training and they have a beautiful site they can manage themselves and really shows off their members photography.

Since then Josh has had some of his work accepted into national photographic competitions and published in national magazines and local papers.
